BUYING AT AUCTION

Catalogues: Available free of charge from the auction rooms during viewing for the fortnightly Antique & Modern sales. Fine Art sale catalogues are available for £10.00 from two weeks prior to the sale, either via post or collection from the auction rooms.

Online Catalogues: Catalogues for both the Antique & Modern and Fine Arts sales are available to download from the 'Sales Calendar' link above prior to the auction. Illustrated Fine Art sale catalogues are also available to view at www.the-saleroom.com/martelmaides or www.invaluable.com/martelmaides.

Viewing: All sales are on view at the Cornet Street saleroom prior to the auction.

Condition Reports: Condition reports & additional photographs are available from our staff if you are unable to attend the viewing. Please e-mail your request to auctions@martelmaides.co.uk.

Registration: Bidding at the saleroom is by paddle number. You will need to register at reception before bidding.

Commission Bids: Commission bids are undertaken for those bidders who are unable to attend the sale in person. Please e-mail commission bids to auctions@martelmaides.co.uk, including your full address, telephone/fax and e-mail address. For Fine Art sales, please send your bids to us by 5pm on the day prior to the auction.

Telephone Bids – Fine Art Sales Only: Available for higher value lots if you are unable to attend the auction. Please e-mail your request for a telephone bid to auctions@martelmaides.co.uk,  including your full address, telephone/fax and e-mail address, at least 24 hours prior to the auction. 

Live Bidding - Fine Art Sales Only: Participate in the auction and bid live via your computer. Register at www.invaluable.com/martelmaides by clicking 'Get Approved to Bid'.

Payment: Via Cheque, Cash, Direct Bank Transfer or Debit/Credit Card.

Delivery: Delivery is available if you are unable to collect your purchase yourself, via our recommended local carriers.
